Marina is a first-year Ph.D. student in the School of Engineering. She got her BSc degree from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2017. After Graduation, She worked as a Software Development Engineer at Mentor Graphics working on different Physical Verification software tools. In January 2019, She visited Brown as a Research Intern to work on Physical Synthesis as a part of the OpenROAD project for 6 months. She is interested in Electronic Design Automation and its Machine Learning applications especially to increase the predictability early enough in the flow. She is also exploring the potentials of using Approximate Computing in Neural Networks related applications to trade-off performance and accuracy.
